  • Congratulations to: Maxine Park, Anna Musteata and Nathan Morrisey!

    These three student of Mila Filatova all placed in the Eastern Division of the MTNA Piano Competitions. One competes as a national finalist.

    After winning the Eastern Division of the Junior Piano Competition, fourteen-year old Maxine Park will travel to Spokane, WA. to compete as a National Finalist in the MTNA Junior Piano Competition. Maxine is the first New Hampshire resident to win an Eastern Division MTNA competition.

    The fourteen-year old, Anna Musteata and sixteen-year old, Nathan Morrisey piano duo placed 2nd in the Eastern Division of the MTNA Senior Piano Duet Competition. This is the highest a New Hampshire duo has ever placed at the Eastern Division MTNA Competition.


  •  Maxine Park (Age 13)

    Competes for a $10,000 Grand Prize.

    Solo performances will take place on Wednesday, July 11 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the Miller Theater on the Alfred University campus in Alfred, New York. Final performances will take place on Thursday, July 12 and Friday, July 13 with the MostArts Festival Orchestra. Maxine has an opportunity to become a Young Steinway Artist, as well as receive an invitation to perform with the 2019 MostArts Festival Orchestra.  (More details)

    Performs on NPR’s "From the Top" program

    Maxine recently performed on NPR’s From the Top program playing VI. Capriccio from Partita No. 2 in C minor, BWV 826 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) and VI. Pastoral: Allegro moderato from Eight Concert Études, Op 40 by Nikolai Kapustin (b.1937). This performance will be released to NPR stations on Monday, October 22, 2018. (More details)
